Been a little busy with other things lately but manage to get a little more done.

More back end stuff. Rudder horns are installed.

Now I can get a feel as to were the pull-pull cables will exit the side of the aircraft.

I was relieved to see the main wings are parallel. That's a lot of extra work avoided there! Smiley

As it turns out the stab is off by about .5 of a degree.
A little sanding will fix that. No biggie. Smiley

The plane is almost ready to go to covering. Smiley Smiley

Hi Al
Saw a black and yellow Ultimate in a hangar years ago in Ontario. It look pretty sharp looking.
The best colors for visibly to me is a dark red and white along with some black trim.
Hope it flies as good as the smaller Goldberg Ultimates.
Never had a plane that could fly as good as an Ultimate in all conditions.

Yes I would certainly agree with you on the Goldberg one.
If it fly like that, I'll be one happy guy. Or even close will do.

Well maybe not pink and purple? Grin

Hi Al,

I like the Aeroworks color scheme...i think it would have good visibility, although with that monster, visibility probably isn't an issue...lol

I like Ben's scheme
but i would change the "red"
when I use to spray paint finishes using the epoxy paints
cough hack cough ...trouble breathing...

i use to take the red and add a little orange to the mix
it created the most vivid red i have ever seen

not sure where you would find a covering like that
