Hi Guys,

After trying out several machine shops and small engine repair places i could not find anyone to put in a helicoil for less than $55 bucks.

So, i bought the kit!

So, if there is anyone out there needing to have a helicoil put into their cylinder heads for an NGK CM-6 plug, i can do it for you!

A small donation would be appreciated to help with the kit cost...

Just curious Brian. What was the cost for the kit.  I heard they were quite expensive.

yup, but i bought a used kit at Nova Automotive

got all the taps and about 30 helicoils for about 75 bucks.

I have already fixed my cylinder head and it looks great!

I learned from the guy there that since these engines were designed they have gone to a bit larger and longer plug to stop them stripping, and that they don't see a lot of this size anymore....that's why they sold me the kit.

I will do inserts for say 5 bucks? or what you want to  donate.

They only take about 5 minutes to do, so it's no big deal.

Just trying to recoop a bit for the purchase.....
