Rae Coyle texted me this morning with the sad news that Lloyd passed away yesterday afternoon. He'd had kidney trouble for a while.

Lloyd was one of the good old guys (old as in 89 years old). His membership goes way back to the old ASRCM club, and the Shearwater club. He, and Rae, and Gary Boleszczuk would would make the field just about every week, usually on a Tuesday. Between the 3 of them,  lots of planes flew.

Lloyd had a great sense of humour and was fun to have around.

Very sorry to hear of Lloyd’s passing. We had some fun times mostly laughing at each others flying skills. He will be missed at the field.

For many years Lloyd, Rae and I flew together every chance we could and had coffee together on Tuesdays to discuss how badly we did. Lloyd was a great friend and I will miss him a lot.
