RIP Lloyd Whitney

Rae Coyle texted me this morning with the sad news that Lloyd passed away yesterday afternoon. He'd had kidney trouble for a while.

Lloyd was one of the good old guys (old as in 89 years old). His membership goes way back to the old ASRCM club, and the Shearwater club. He, and Rae, and Gary Boleszczuk would would make the field just about every week, usually on a Tuesday. Between the 3 of them, lots of planes flew.

Lloyd had a great sense of humour and was fun to have around.

We had some fun times mostly laughing at each others flying skills. He will be missed at the field.

Lloyd was a great friend and I will miss him a lot.
