Hi all. The executive decided it would be a good idea to shingle the shelter at the field. I bought some shingles last week and will be buying the drip edge and underlay. We’re looking at tackling this on Friday and could really use someone with some roofing expertise. We’ll need hammers, ladders and an able bodied crew to get this done. How does 9:30 sound?

Today, the replacement of the ill -fated plastic roof on the shelter was completed!!!!!!! Thank You Loyal Fans

By the time i got up there,  (late), Kevin B was on top with putty knife and tub of shingle tar. Freezing his tush in the 17 deg, windchill -21,  Winter Flying Blue Mooning temps, Kevin tarred each and every single one of the shingles. Dutifully lifting the front, dabbing tar under, stuffing the shingle back down and beating it ( Beating A Dead Horse )

Oh the effort. The struggles. The perserverance (?). He lifted. He beat. He complained about the cold. Did i mention the struggles?

He sure did.

But in the end he gotter dun. Working at unimaginable heights, Through unspeakable cold, tearing wind, Kevin gotter dun.

We might wish it had been a tad more unspeakable, but hey. DUN+

Thank you Kevin for the effort. Thank you Mike for getting the shingle & materials. Thank you Al for the plywood. Smiley Margaree Night Raa Raa Raa Raa Raa Raa
