Today, the replacement of the ill -fated plastic roof on the shelter was completed!!!!!!!

By the time i got up there,  (late), Kevin B was on top with putty knife and tub of shingle tar. Freezing his tush in the 17 deg, windchill -21,  temps, Kevin tarred each and every single one of the shingles. Dutifully lifting the front, dabbing tar under, stuffing the shingle back down and beating it ( )

Oh the effort. The struggles. The perserverance (?). He lifted. He beat. He complained about the cold. Did i mention the struggles?

He sure did.

But in the end he gotter dun. Working at unimaginable heights, Through unspeakable cold, tearing wind, Kevin gotter dun.

We might wish it had been a tad more unspeakable, but hey. DUN+
