The unseen damage on the mower belt from when it was incorrectly installed has now shown itself.
It is frayed and narrowed on a section of about (12").
This is causing excessive vibration and will separate the belt at anytime.
For those who are considering going flying, the grass was and is in need of mowing.................

Les has contacted the dealer over the weekend and is awaiting response re; belt.

Yes Sandy, I was under the impression the dealer had ordered one. I was present when the technician did the service (onsite) and the technician indicated the belt didn't show any unusual wear. I do not have any further info on the status of the order.

If someone can remove the belt and visit some local vendors we probably could find one..... and at a better price.....

Because we do not have a spare mower the intentions were at that time, to keep our existing mower functioning uninterrupted, so as to not disrupt the flying activities.

We are in need of some volunteers which seem to be in short supply.
