One of the high lites of the War Bird meet is the annual award that goes to the "pilots choice" - the best plane at the event as voted on by the fliers in attendance.

This year, the award went to our own Todd (Twinkle Toes/Painter) Fowler for his "Strega" modified P-51. It is a beautiful plane, and Todd did a super job of modifying a Top Flite P-51 into the famous racer. Altered top deck, clipped wings, gorgeous paint job - a deserving win for Todd. Raa Raa

Attached is a picture taken at Margaree, showing Todd's plane beside Kelly's stock P-51...yup, from the same kit!!

Well done Todd!!
