I was planning on going flying Thursday but my son needs to go to the doctor so I won't make it. I do have a question though ...CTV weather says winds 20 gusting to 40 KM/h from the south. weather network and 'Windy' say single digits 5 km/h gusting to 12-16 from the NW. What do most people believe? If gusts to 40 I can't fly most of my planes in those winds.

Windfinder says 8 10 from the north west.

I find Windfinder pretty darn accurate

Well, it turns out both were correct. Light to no wind through the day and mid to late afternoon she started blowing a gale.
