Title: Margaree June 2013 Post by administrator on Jun 16th, 2013 at 9:07pm
My first weekly stay at Margaree has been completed. We arrived at 1:00am on the 11 of June and left on Sunday the 16 at 9:00am. The week was enjoyable and a hell of a lot of fun with my cohorts Whitey and Matt. I never stopped laughing!! Whitey has a large cabin which was frequently visited by many RCer's who needed to quench their thirst from all the sun in Cape Breton. Unfortunately, I fell ill on Wednesday, probably the flu. However, Whitey ensured I received enough Vitamin C by feeding me copious amounts of Clamatto juice and Celery," Hmmmm, or was that Tuesday night, it's still all fuzzy". Anyhow, I was over it in no time. Margaree is a great gathering of friends, new acquaintances and flying. I'll see everyone next year.

Great job Bruce.....and way too bad you got ill. Typical novice problem tho. Us oldies have learned the hard way to be careful of the water in the valley >:( ..that's why we tend to bring lots of bottled water...Montezuma does have a way of catching up on one, and his revenge can be driving...
best treatment is clear liguids and vegetables...... :wallbash super time as always... |
