It would be but I have to wait for some Power HD servos so it will crash quicker. ;) This was shipped by DHL - all I was charged was the HST on the declared value and a $10.00 processing fee. Little better that a shipping company who shall remain nameless but who's initials are UPS. Driver called early this morning to see if I would be home for the delivery - had no problem changing the delivery to my office. Took a quick look inside - impressed with the packaging. The inside of the cardboard box is lined with 1/8" plywood! |

Steve,you must have started something!
Right after you posted I got a call telling me my three large boxes arrived.... Picked them up this evening. Only thing left are the materials for the spray bars. Dan |

Awesome, Dan!
I just opened up the boxes and I love this plane already. Excellent hardware package as can be seen from the picture from the website. Mine came with the spats instead of wheel pants which I prefer. Wheels have aluminum hubs. Big plane! [smiley=tekst-toppie.gif] [smiley=tekst-toppie.gif] Colour scheme on mine is different than in the picture. Now, I must haul tons of packaging away from the last three planes - can't move in my building room. ;D |

No Freakin way!! WOW, it arrived fast! I love the Pilot's stuff... good quality and they fly nice. Go over all the seams with a hot trimming iron to keep the covering from peeling off.
I would not hesitate to buy another from them... maybe they should start selling jets! ;D Looking good Steve. Can't wait to see it. One suggestion - ditch the China Tygon crap (it hardens real quick) and use the only genuine Tygon fuel lines in the tank and engine feed. Dan |

Late Christmas present ... Desert Aircraft DA-120 :) :) :) :) Hopefully, it'll get the Yak off the ground - calls for a 28-12 / 29-10 2-blade or a 27-12 3-blade prop.

Well, I prevailed on the Gas Header God today and finally got the headers finished for the Yak (thanks, Al - awesome job).
I may actually get this out to the field in the next few weeks. Found one problem though - darn plane won't fit in my van. Had to order a special spinner from Hobby King that will give me a few more inches. Oh, if only we could a few extra inches this easy for other things. ;D ;D ;D ;D |
