Hi Sandy:
No problem to get to Shearwater from Halifax. Here are the directions. You take off from Halifax Airport and take Way Point Whiskey,Tango,Foxtrot and follow VOR Ident Foxtrot, Uniform, Charlie at 70 degrees untill you hit Beacon Ident Sierra, Oscar, Bravo. Make a tight East turn and you will be lined up with Shearwater Runway. The Dme Ident Sierra, Oscar, Golf, Oscar , Papa will give you the distance to the threshold and if you are flying VFR the ILS Ident Sierra, Oscar, Indian, Alpha, Romeo will give you Glideslope and Centreline. Hope that helps. ;) ;D Bruce |
