This is a repost from another  flyer:

There are some area flyers who have been considering bringing back the field formerly the home of the Halifax Radio Control Club.  There has been so much interest that a work party took place Saturday the 20th of January.

Another work party is planned for this Saturday the 27th of January 2024.

To make it easier to find, here are some links that may be of interest.

is the link to the clubs online forum.  There are pictures and links to what has been done and further directions.

Here are some links to Google street views.  The first shows the entrance.

And looking up the hill of the lane heading to the field, you can see the sign of HRCC.

It is good for all flyers that another field may be available this coming season.  The field will be closer for some and farther away for others, but it will be a new experience to fly there.  Some flyers will apppreciate the paved runway, which means less grass to mow and more time to fly.

Have a look.  It will be another asset.  It may bring back some flyers who have been away from flying.  I look forward to seeing people again this summer at the various fields around the province.
