Notice to all rc pilots,

In preparation for the holiday period, Transport Canada Civil Aviation and Transport Canada Aviation Security have issued exemptions to Santa Claus from the requirements set out in various provisions of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).

HOHOHO-2023 – Santa Claus reindeer powered aeroplane, unrestricted access to all Canadian airspace - Issued on December 21, 2023.

The purpose of this global exemption is to allow SANTA CLAUS, NORTH POLE, H0H 0H0, CANADA, to operate a reindeer-powered aeroplane at supersonic speeds with no take-off weight limitations and with unrestricted access to all Canadian airspace for his annual Christmas gift delivery.

Additionally, this global exemption will enable SANTA CLAUS to deliver presents in a way that respects the International Generous Distribution of Happiness Convention.

SANTA CLAUS-2023 – Air Cargo Screening Requirements - Issued on December 21, 2023.

The purpose of this exemption is to allow Santa Claus to transport unsecure air cargo (gifts) from the North Pole for distribution to Canadian homes on Christmas Eve.
