2023 fun fly............sorta finally..

We all know when a club postpones an event, the numbers are down when the day actually comes.......But hey, we finally pulled off the 2023 Fun Fly. Postponed last week, then weather delay yesterday and today not too promising, we gotterdun. excited

Foggy start, but we had 22 pilots sign up and fly, and another dozen or so family visitors. Weather WAS super, moderate wind, field was in good shape after a visit by AlCool's MMM Pit Mowing

last Friday.

Lot's of flying; 1 corn field visit damage nil. 1 great landing turned into a FUBAR with only a broken prop, otherwise uneventful.

Picture #3 shows Finn with his plaque, created by Kevin MacKay, awarded for being the youngest FLIER at the event.

The Kevin Team (MacKay and Campbell) produced a super BBQ lunch complete with choice of onions...... Thank You Loyal Fans
