Going to try and sneak out tomorrow morning for a few hours as the weather looks fantastic, got to leave by 1 as I have a golf tee time at 1:48. I know, super tough day planned.😜

Just a reminder though, club rules, no flying until 10 AM on Sundays

What a gorgeous day for flying and a pretty good turnout of flyers at the field as well!
Great day, even with the comments about my noisy gas engine from the peanut gallery of electron energy users.😎

What was worse than noisy gas engine ...was leaving early to go for a tee off time golfing. Pick a hobby! You missed the hide and seek in the corn maze by a plane that didn't know when to crash. pilot gave up after seeing it go down in the corn and started to walk away only to see the plane pop up from the corn, but to late to recover it ...second downing , it didn't survive.

Yes a great day for RC Flying...I believe the best day all year.

I actually did see the plane playing in and out of the corn just before I left. Couldn’t miss the exuberant commentary from the spectators as it was happening🙂
Was the cougar (I think that was what it was?) recovered?

Drones found it under 10 mins. recovered shortly there after 235meters out in the corn toward the dikewall.

So, our farmer friends were actually cutting down the corn yesterday. Had the drone not found the plane they would have.

As much as it is their livelihood, I'm glad the corn is coming down...

Next 2 years should be without.....
