As part of my thinking about larger slower planes, I took this down off the shelf.  Mikey gifted me this a few year ago.   While it looks almost Tiger Moth-ish, a few things look a wee bit off. I went on line and  found this Stampe-Vertongen SV.4.

Designed and built in Belgium, there is no reference in any literature of cooperation between DeHaviland and Stampe, yet, except for not having the pointed tail, it sure looks......

Model was covered with fabric and dope, and I didn't spend too much time trying to clean off the sharp edges from the trim colours. Rough paint job will do, and I have the markings on hand.

I 3d printed the 2 fittings on the port side just to add a little detail. Have a Venturi to put on it.

Model needs the cabanes touched up and the gear legs painted black.

DLE 20 is adequate.

Yeah. The sessions at the Eye Clinic this summer got me thinking Greg  Violin Whine. Birthday this month  Pig, getting old, maybe time to slow down a wee bit . 80" wing makes it just about 1/4 scale.

Think it'll be fun. Have to learn to fly with rudder  Plane Cool WEEEEE
