Anyone thinking about tomorrow morning. Looks good until between 1 & 2. Low winds too.
I’m thinking about going out for a couple flights.

Have to post this...Jack videoed my 3D ugly stik maiden at shearwater yesterday. didn't go well but completely repairable ...just need a new former section (F2). on landing the gear punched thru the former and split the plane into two. no damage to anything other the the elevator servo and F2. nothing more glue and a new servo won't fix. There were a lot of things wrong with the plane and I was lucky to get it back on the grd in two pieces.

Well THAT'S not bad at all Kevin. Lot's of maidens gone worse. Looked like way too much throw so that made it hard to level out, combined with a wee tad of tail heavy maybe??

Fixit and DOOT again.

Sandy, you are exactly correct in your analysis. Plus other issues I discovered after the landing. I was lucky to even get it back on the ground in that condition as the elevator servo had a stripped tooth on a gear.  Everything has been repaired except the Former (F2) it is still on the printer and will be complete tomorrow after supper (21hr print). I loved the power that new motor had as the plane went vertical during the flight and stalled.  So I goosed the throttle and it pulled out vertically...all kinds of power.
