So,

As some of you know, dad built this years ago, but it has never made it off the ground yet. So I decided to gab it now that I have the facilities and we got a start on re-covering. We decided on solartex for the covering, and wile I was at it, I converted it to electric. I 3d printed a dummy engine and dad painted it.

I also custom designed some battery holders for the firewall so battery changes will be a breeze. I'm going to start painting this week. We're going with the Manfred von richthofen scheme 152/17 JG.1. Red and green. Here are a few photos of where I'm at.

Looks great Greg.  I particularly like reading build posts.  As many already know, I enjoy research and build even more than fly. Smiley
