The MAAC Windsock was jealous of the perfect flying conditions and all the flying today and decided to join in but wind was so light it only made it to the picnic tables. The string holding it to the pole was frayed and let go. It has been taken into custody by a member and will be repaired and returned to the field soon.

Windsock has had the mounting method changed a bit, hopefully for the better. Returned to it’s perch this evening

I stopped into the field today on my way home from the camp and removed the windsock from the pole, hung it in the sea can for the winter.
