The guy selling the tx was a drone guy who used it to control the camera mount On a large really expensive drone he uses to monitor for gas pipeline leakage...until he crashed the drone. The Tx has just been sitting around since Shortly after he bought it in July 2015.
So I got a almost new tx (he claims 4 hours)...That’s been sitting. The only thing was the battery is toast. So I just put in a HK 1100 mah life on 2 s

Other than the thing is more complicated it works ok and I now have a replacement for my 8sg. Which was stolen from my truck😒

By the way.... FUTABA stands for UNNECESSARILY COMPLICATED

But that’s just me.
The serial number was on a decal on the back. It give the manufacturing year.

My club here in Edmonton just banned gas engine planes

Noise...
There was almost a riot but they have the ban in place
Claim the farm owner told them to
Them being the executive, average age 99 years, and all going deaf
As you may know
Deaf people are more inclined to complain about noise
