My son Jon has a request from a lady in the US looking for information on a show HRCC held at the Anna Leonowens gallery in 1971.  I remember taking Jon to a show there but that would have been about 1980.  Here's a couple of photos from the 1971 event.  If anyone has any remembrance of this please let me or Jon know.

her email:   My name is Teresa Hubbard and I am a Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Texas at Austin.

I am conducting some research about an exhibition: Halifax Radio Control Model Aircraft Exhibition which took place in 1971 in Halifax at the Anna Leonowens Gallery at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
I’ve attached a couple of historical images from the exhibition for your reference. As you can see from the (poor quality) photos, it was an ambitious event. Unfortunately, beyond these photos, the Anna Leonowens Gallery has no other information or records about it.

I understand that this was event was a (very!) long time ago. I am hoping that, within your network of colleagues in your club and in the region of Halifax, there might be someone who remembers this event and have some information about this exhibition. Please feel free to share this message and my contact information with your colleagues.

Thank you for your assistance,

With Kind Regards,

Teresa
