This was taken Jan 3/19, on the North Mountain section of the Cabot Trail.  Guess we can't really complain.

Holy Moly! that’s some serious snow.
Maybe I should load up my snowmobile and head up that way. Been tough sledding around these parts so far this year.

Yes, and that's entirely too close to Margaree for those who are not up on their C.B. Geography. Just over the mountains that are on the left if you're out on the flightline, looking South.

One recent June during our Margaree trip, there was still snow along the ditches up there Glen.

Back in '90 or '91, one of the very first years Carie went up with me, David from the Normaway sent us up the Upper Interval Road past Portree. Drifts like this were well over the roof of the car - again, mid June.

I believe it, been sledding in late May up there, and there was still 6 foot of snow left.

And if you want to see a lot of snow, head from there over towards wreck cove. I've seen with my own little eyes about 18 inch of pole top sticking out of the snow, just the old folk used to talk about.
