Jeez Jack, Hitec, Futaba and Spectrum all make good retract servos, and the price swings a bit, with Futaba being most expensive. Hitec 75BB will likely do the job, depending on the weight of the plane. The throw can be adjusted at the servo wheel/arm.

And I have seen pics of a thin servo if you need....that was also Hitec I think..

And that it's not properly sized to boot  Roll Eyes
Anyway Jack, don't know what radio you're using, but most will allow you to control the amount of throw a servo has, so really all you need is a nice strong servo and you're good to go.

Sorry guys pics were ok when I posted them
Gram apple gremlins.
Yes Sandy and Dan had some great advice, not having gone the retract route since the jackal
I do have metal gear Hitecs with metal arms and pushrods
So I'll give it a go. Glen spectrum 9 so adjusting them shouldn't be a problem.
May have to use separate channels for proper throes
