Hi guys,
Getting back into RC flying after a 25 year absence. Some of you older guys may remember me from back then flying at HRCC. Looking forward to meeting all the new guys. I will be easing back into the hobby with a eflite timber I just purchased but hope to have my thumbs back up to speed by next year, fingers crossed. Think I will create something a little more challenging over the winter building season. You never know, you might see a new, old school super coupe at the field again!  Wink It was my airframe of choice to wring out back in the day. Think I had 4 or 5 of them in the 80's.
I hoping to be at the field regularly after Sept 1 when my MAAC renewal goes into effect.
So if you see a 50ish chubby, grey haired guy with glasses at the field that you don't know with a new Eflite Timber, please introduce yourself, I'm looking forward to meeting you.

Started going to the field Sept 6, after renewing my MAAC membership Sept 1. Mostly going in the evenings and although they are getting a lot shorter I have been managing to squeeze in 3-4 flights an evening before dark. Have put 25 flights on the eflite timber as of tonight. Probably 250-300 landings and take offs in those 25 flights. Surprisingly the thumbs are coming back faster than I thought they would. Even now getting the timber to fly inverted circuits, runway long slow rolls and a knife edge pass or two Wink. Next step, an eflite extra 260 I have ready to go now and a 3D foamie arriving Friday, wish me luck coming up to speed with those!
Got to meet a few more old faces at the scale flyin last Saturday. I'm sure Ches Lockhart would have enjoyed the event in his memory.
See ya at the field!
