Reply #7 - Jul 5^th, 2012 at 10:57am I'd be happy to help also. Only thing I would suggest is that you fly the routine prior to get a feel for what is going to be coming next in the routine. A lot of us memorize the routine and then the caller is really only there if your mind goes completely blank

Sorry Brian, my usual sarcastic nature took over and I didn't really answer your question. Yup, the guys are always willing to help other fliers. It is usual for 2 competitors to fly against each other, and call for each other in the same round. While we compete with each other, we are really competing against the sequence of manouvers, trying to improve on what we did last time..

There is always lots of practical support like "calling for" and mentoring...great time. Of course, if your landings are terrible like mine ......
