Yes, it was a royal pain to get it lined up properly and even still I am only 96% happy with the alignment. Comp ARF dropped the ball on the install instructions for this step imho.

Got the rudder linkage and servo all done up this evening. It was actually quite simple once I figured out where exactly to cut the hole in the side of the vertical fin for the servo arm. Not a process I wish to repeat given the extremely high pucker factor. Notice how the servo is mounted..never seen that before. Kinda bass akwards looking but it works. I like how they supplied a piece of balsa and some aluminum tape to help protect the servo in the event of a wet/hot start.

Should be very visible. One thing I noticed is you're using the grommets with the servo..... A no no in these jets. There is no vibration to worry about, so you don't need them. They will actually allow flexing and at high speeds....... not good. Secure the servos tight without the usual crap. Dan

From what I have read, the bye pass gives a big increase in efficiency...aka less drag....aka go faster with less fuel. Hard to argue with that.

The UF LG mount is designed for these retracts and they fit fairly well. They are very expensive but the quality and workmanship is second to none.
