That was maybe the third or fourth Bruce....on the maiden I had the honour of standing beside/behind Capt. Cool and holding his knees together....... evem the cool man can get the shakes..... beautiful plane tho...

Thanks for posting that Bruce.  I think Fingures is correct that the third or fourth flight.
The first flight I had retract problem and had to belly land it.
It wasn't a great start but the plane flys good. You got to fly her, but it's not too bad. Smiley

Hey Jack:

The MkIX (actually its a Mk XVI based on the serial number and squadron code) has flown (all of three flights) and it looks rather realistic in the air.  Al Eastman took it up late last season and proved that it does indeed fly. I had the sticks for about two or thee minutes each flight. It's power is modest with the 91 four stroke, but it does move along once it gets settled.  I'll bring it to the field this season and get Capt Cool to fly it for me.
