Had a few good flights this morning even though the wind came up for a bit late morning. Wind dropped about 12:30 so I could get one quick flight in with my Extra before the rain hit (damn weatherman was off by an hour Wink). Getting my heli dialed back in nicely and I appreciate the R/C Gods letting my collective servo fail while I was on the ground rather than in the air - I bow to you all! Grin

Missed you today, Jack. Wasn't sure I was going to be able to get out - supposed to be in NFLD but work couldn't be done in the rain so.....

I was supposed to keep this hush-hush but I'll tell just you, Jack - those are a new
experimental servo
from Outer Mongolia designed with
"hyper-intelliprogramming".
They have a new infrared gravitational sensor that lets them know when the aircraft is on the ground before they allow the unit to fail. Worked really well today. Only problem is that they only work if you are on the ground, not buried into the ground. Wink Switched to a new servo and a great flight followed!
