It was a great day at the field; some 17 flyers showed up between 9am and 4pm. Absolute perfect weather. I realize what I've been missing, and will make a greater effort to get out on Wednesdays..!

What turned out to be my last flight of the day resulted in my little "hotrod", (eflite V900), getting w-a-y out there, smaller and smaller, and going down into three foot tall grasses. I have to thank Al, Chris, and Ron who took on the challenge of looking for the little beast and turned out Ron was the finder..!
Not much damage as I had throttled back before going down and it was standing vertical in the grasses.

The crown on the day was four of us sitting down at the local Chinese eatery and ordering the "dinner for four"...excellent food..and a great way to wrap up the day!

It was a very fun day at Avon, But there all fun days a Avon! :D This hobby is still great! I guess there all fun days no matter what field you go to.

Its a Phoenix Model Stuka 95 inch ARF.
I remember Jim's Stuka but I have no idea what ever happen to it. Would have been nice.
