Attached are the documents received from MAAC this afternoon. One is a copy of the Exemption as issued by TC. The second is a document from MAAC explaining the exemption.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE YOURSELF AWARE OF WHAT IS REQUIRED OF EACH OF US. EFFECTIVELY WE OPERATE THE SAME AS BEFORE, BUT ANY ONE OF USE WHO VIOLATES THE LAID OUT PARAMETERS WILL LOSE HIS EXEMPTION

I will be making a copy of these and taking them to the RCMP as I did with the temporary forms.

Today, Tuesday  May 21/19, I delivered a packet to the RCMP Detachment over on Morison Drive behind (in front of) Windsor.

As in 2017, The packet had a letter introducing our club to the RCMP, a copy of the Exemption from TC, and a copy of Avon RC Flyers Charter from MAAC.  The purpose of this exercise was to inform the RCMP, that if they get a complaint or inquiry about "drone" flying behind Daniel's U-Pick, we are legal and exempt from the TC Order.

Sgt. Burell received the package.  Very nice guy, knowledgeable about the TC order, wasn't aware an exemption was coming, but was knowledgable and happy to get the pack. We talked some about models, and "drones" and the hazard they could create. He assured me the packet would be made known to the other constables next day.


I will update the package that's in the "GREYBOX"  at the pits with a copy of the Exemption letter. Should any constables ever show up, proof of our status is there.
