How do you attach a video to a post? i.e. format, max size etc.

I "think" Steve you have to put the video out on Vimeo or Youtube or somewhere like that. then you put the link on your post................that being said, I'm still using my Mickey Mouse 8mm projector...

Sandy says "I'm still using my Mickey Mouse 8mm projector..."

Steve says  "that makes sense"

Al is vigorously nodding his head and laughing uncontrollably.....

Oh Glen.  :-? GlenGlenGlen. Your education has been stunted.
Back in the REAL old days, about 100 years BS, You used to buy kodak movie film in 50' x 16mm reels. Run it through the camera once, then (in a darkened room), flip the reel and run it back. You got 100' of exposed film full of wonderful memories of good times spent with the family, when you really wanted to be out with the guys. The processors split it the film while de-vel-op-ing it. . You got a reel back from the drug store with developed film... bunch of frames on the film, each had a picture, slightly different from the pic in front and behind.
You put this reel on a " projector"    -   pro   - ject  - or. This machine had a bright light in it that shone through the frames on the film as they passed behind the lens. On the other side of the living room (this exercise ALWAYS  took place in the living room, in front of bored guests) you stood a white screen (or hung a white sheet). The individual images on the film appeared (were pro-ject-ed) on the screen, hopefully moving at close-to-correct speed, hopefully in focus so you could yell "There's Aunt Martha" on cue.  Nowadays on TV, If you are quick, there is a RAV ad that shows a young lady using a film camera....later in the ad she is "pro-ject-ing" the image on the screen; watching carefully you might notice that the film reels are moving backwards to reality, but that's life after all.    >:(

Nowadays you would merely take the card out of the camera, stick in the slot on your laptop, and watch the video - much quicker.  :Raa Raa

Now Mickey, he was another story all together.... :D :-X

PS. I still have both a kodak 8mm film camera AND a screen here.....all the family films were transposed to VHS, and THAT's for another lesson.... ;)

WOW, in the future, I better not ask what time it is.
I think I'd find out how to build a clock!
