I read a short notice about a new book on the Dam Busters, and it focuses on Canadian involvement - 14 of the 53 killed were Canadian - here's the title, you can reserve, but the wait is roughly one month.

That was the first movie I ever remember in the theater - anyone else remember the theme music? or shedding tears for the dog?

Think I'll get a copy at a book store. Mt. A room mate said his dad was on these things. Interesting story all round.

pilots and stuff get the medals. The rest of the crew are along for the ride whether they want to be or not....
