Saturday Sept 15th, about 10;45, lost sight of my Timber and it went down, approx. 200m to NE of pilot area. Search for 1 hour revealed nothing, it may have dived into cornfield. Possible battery issue.
If anyone receives any information on it, please let me know. :'(

We have several drone operators in the HEFA group at Shannon park....not sure about the Avon Club. Maybe this thread will bring forth a valley drone member.

Alleluia, the Timber is found! Don MacPhee passed by the field today (Dec 16) and found it on one of the tables. Apparently found by a farmer and left there, not known when. Don says some minor damage, he will check it out, then call me to collect. Thanks Don. :) :) :)

Don got the Timber back to me around Christmastime. Thanks for repairing the flap Don. :) Did some extensive cleaning and checked out the motor and servos. Some adjustments required. Also some minor cosmetic damage that I will leave. All seems in order now, so will wait for the fair weather to arrive before taking it to the field.
