Title: Brushable primers
Post by yorcram on Feb 19th, 2018 at 7:59pm
Some online reading stated people using primer that they brush / roll on. Sounds like automotive primer.
Anyone use it or know where to get it locally?

Only brush on stuff i see is Rustoleum, and that is very thin so would take days to build up a surface to sand :-[ .

There used to be a product call Sherman William's  ultra coat primer. One coat of that and sand sand sand. It did a great job filling weave but I haven't seen it in years. Jim Turner was the guy who told me about that stuff. A fine man and I still think of him often.

Sandy is correct, Todd's the guy for that question.
