Title: DREMEL TOOLS
Post by Fingers on Sep 20th, 2017 at 2:36pm
Had reason to take my Dremel apart, then order a part...

Dremel Canada is at Giles Tool Agencies, Toronto

1 800 268-4255

and the order lady is at extension 227.

Phoned today, part going out today   [smiley=tekst-toppie.gif]

Did you sheer the plastic coupler connecting the motor to the drive shaft?

That's the part Mike. Very common in the models that use them...
Didn't shear mine, looks much like it melted - likely when I was trying to get the 90deg working....

I sheared them on a regular basis. Finally gave up and bought a different tool.

They're a good thing to have a few
on hand. They do save the motor.

The coupler in mine sheared a few years ago.  Got a replacement at Sears.  Their rotary tool uses the same part.
