I just want to make my own

Brian, I put hooks on either side of the can on the top of the tunnel (cup hooks worked for me) and strung a small diameter but strong spring from one hook to other, around the can. Never had a "metal to metal" problem, can is still there after 4 years...

I had spent daze trying different silicone holders to retain the can, finally saw this solution in MAN - column by john glizellis.

Works for me - others will now have tons of reasons why it won't work... :popcorn
