Title: no glue for you
Post by waverider on May 24th, 2015 at 1:08am
anyone  remember Jon's Margaree disintegration?
well a new ARF i just built blew off the start table ( we have freckly winds here.  one minute calm and then bingo a blast).
it landed upright
but the engine tore out of the firewall
guess what?
no glue for you

oh and seeping cyno into the gaps of these ARFs don't strengthen a firewall joints.

i am going to use some No More Nails.  I heard at the field today that this is the latest fad glue.  step aside gorilla.

Who could forget that ball of balsa brian.  LOL   but you have to use the just right twist of the tongue when you say "no glue for you"  LOL

Jon tells me you're bringing some foam to Margaree.

likely a can of jiffy foam........just sayin'

however, I have read about "No more Nails" or similar products veing used on foamies. In fact, fellow at moncton used it to build his Blue foamy from Gaston. Loved it

Example of CONFABULATION

Dear Mr.Brian
Thank you for your comments for this.
We will recover this problem in next mass production so that no longer happen this.
But you only use 60-75cc engine for this model. The Saito 100 is too big.

Best regards,

Just built and test flew this kit with a Saito 100.

the plane was blown off the start table and dropped about ,75 meter flat to the ground
the firewall separated from the front fuselage
the landing gear separated from the lower fuselage

reason: hardly any glue.
in fact the amount of glue used was so small it is incredible that the firewall did not separate on the first test flight.
likely, this happened because the aircraft was just flown to trim and then landed with no aerobatic maneuvers

can you please replace this kit?

Dear Mr. Brian, you have been deconfabulated. It is pleased to notice you that I have already producted a 50cc engine that which could be lended to you at further noticed. It should not be surprised to you that a Saito 100 is of a bigness too much.. ;D

Jeez Brian, putting a 100cc engine on a foamy, shame on you...
