Hi Steve:

That Scorpion must  be bigger than it looks if all of those batteries fit in it.

Good luck getting them in the plane.

LDB 8-)

I stopped by Steve's last night to have a look, and man that thing is nice!  Very well made and finished. A high quality product for sure, and typical of Steve all the bits and pieces to finish it are the best on the planet!

I was thinking the extension cord would be a bummer, but then got one of my patent brilliant ideas... :BrightIdea  If you're planning on fairly long distance flying, borrow a BGM-71B and take the wire spool off the back - should give you several miles of power...
for short range,  ie indoor, swipe an M26 from some unsuspecting cop and take the wire pair from the front - that'll give you about 10 meters of power...and it's win win.... you get power and any pervert who tries to muck with the plane gets fried.... :popcorn

nice battery pack, might cause a little wing loading problem, screw it, just add more turbine. Good news my planes are almost fixed. Need a new transportation device, van is beat to hell.

Glad to the planes are getting fixed. As far as a new vehicle, a Ferrari Van would be nice. You'd be able to move quickly out of the way of the crazy drivers out there. ;)

Re-thought the process once Todd brought up the wing loading issue so I'm going back to the original plan. ;)

You can"t fix stupid when is comes to dumbass drivers.Need a 500ci inch big block supercharged 2500hp,that would work perfect. Will add 3in thick steel plate bumpers.

Yeah, I also had a chance to visit and review the new "toy". The pictures do NOT do it justice. I absolutely love the looks of it. Very F5'ish, and larger than I thought it would be. Going to have no trouble installing the gear in it.

Yes you can. Unfortunately, pretty much anything that could be done, is considered illegal. >:( Like the chain gun, rocket launchers, skinning them alive, etc. :( :(
