well the wx is reasonable here.
There is a fixation on wind.  They could never fly in NS - they are fixated on wind speed and direction.
The clubs have initiation fees.  I paid and I am still waiting to be initiated............... :P
The fields are generally flat but on a fair day there are few if any flyers.  I suppose they have to work to pay for their enormous trucks.
If I sound a bit jaded i think it was rules up to ying yong yesterday.  If everyone followed their field call rules it would sound like a choir yelling rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb.
Best one was ...you canbnot go on the field when someone is flying..".  I am still trying to figure that one out if you have to place your plane and cannot taxi.
Anyway, I started a bit of a discussion with" too many rules for calls make it unsafe".
The average age at the club I went to yesterday was in my category .. around 102.
