Title: Winter 2014 project officially started early Post by Steve Mosher on Jul 1st, 2013 at 5:22pm
Well, since all my planes now have at least two flight on them despite this lovely weather, it's time to move onto the next project.
The KingTech K-140G was test run on Saturday with the help and experience of Al and Dan. A great new facet of the hobby to learn about! http://www.kingtechturbines.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=128 Just noticed - I must have learned something. I know what all the separate parts are in the picture. 8-) 8-) |

Here's the plane - an Aviation Design Scorpion MkII. I have the kit ordered but there is a wait list for it so I hoe to get it in the next month or so. The build will not start until late fall.

Definitely a challenge, Sandy, though the Scorpion is considered a good first jet as it slows down nice and has good low speed flight characteristics. I'm adding the speed brake on top also. Top speed will not be all that high compared to a couple of speed demons we know who love to "Flash" around the sky at a million miles an hour. ;) ;)
Lots to learn - lots of research. :) |

It's going to be an awesome combination Steve. Can't wait to see the jet when it arrives.
