In the "old" days, back when we walked 17 miles, uphill both ways, to school and back, when snow was up :o...... sorry wrong analogy... :P
we used to strip the covering off, stand the fuse up in a bucket ( 5 gal paint pails worked great) , and poured fine kitty litter in around the fuse....let it stand for several days, wipe everything off, check, and repeat as required ... always worked a charm. I saved many (!) fuselages that way.. |

That explains why Finger's planes smell of cat pee. I thought it was the fuel he was using. ;)
Thanks to Sandy for the helpful Advice |

Actually no, that is dog pee that you smell. Sandy often sleeps with his planes for company, in the dog house. :D

Suspect it would beat taking the chance of being dumped out of a cardboard bin, into the back of a front ender garbage truck ::) |

well, as i remember, the being dumped isn't really the problem, unless the truck picked up something like a desk just before you..... the part that hurts is the compactor..... gives a fresh perspective to kissing your butt goodbye...... :'(
oooops, am I allowed to say butt here??? :o Hope I don't get censored for that comment.... ;) |

When I worked at GWS (Green Waste Systems) one driver told me about an incident that happened when he was on a cardboard run. H had just dumped a bin, and was packing the load. He was looking through the cab's rear window, when someone scrambled over the ram :o, and out the top of the truck (narrowly missing being squashed).
